Customer Support

Pre-Sales Support
Liquid Control's unique attention starts well in advance of an order being placed. Our laboratory facilities are available for the demonstration of equipment to prospective customers. You are invited to visit our headquarters to view and participate in a test of equipment on the same or a similar application to the one you have in mind. This way, you can have peace of mind that the equipment will meet your precise specification.

Guarantee
All equipment carries a minimum twelve month warranty (excluding consumable and wearing parts) subject to our standard terms and conditions. The guarantee includes free supply of parts and on-site service from Liquid Control's own engineers.

Pre-Shipment Inspection and Test
Unless specifically agreed by the customer, no equipment leaves Liquid Control without first being fully inspected and wet tested by skilled technicians in our laboratory. Quality assurance checks are made on your machine, and tests involve the actual process and material, to reproduce, as far as possible, the conditions under which the machine will operate once installed. Customers are always invited to be present at these tests and generally do attend.

Commissioning
Once all checks have been made and equipment given a clean bill of health, installation and commissioning, if required, gets underway with the help of Liquid Control's fully trained engineers. To ensure continuity and contact, the same commissioning engineer is usually involved in on-site support. He will carefully instruct the new operator in the machine's functions and make sure that daily operating and maintenance procedures are fully explained and understood.

After Sales Support
Reaction Service Technical support is ongoing and controlled by our Service Department with its team of skilled engineers.
Liquid Control's after-sales support operates throughout Europe with reaction times second to none bringing expert help and fast spares service. Rapid response to emergency breakdowns keeps down-time costs and inconvenience to a minimum.

Spares
Comprehensive stocks of spare parts are held in our stores to provide the best possible service. Standard spares are generally despatched the same day. Liquid Control monitors all spare parts to ensure consistent high quality standards. Specialist parts are not stock items and should be stocked by the customer.

Training Courses
Liquid Control offer to run specific training courses at the head office and elsewhere for small groups. These are practical courses aimed at the operators and the maintenance staff of customers, and designed to help customers look after their own machines effectively. Emphasis is on a technical appreciation of the machine's functions and how to maintain maximum efficiency through regular checks and trouble shooting.

Long Term Help
Liquid Control has over 5000 customers, some with machines still working daily after 25 years of usage. Some machines are in second, third or more ownership. Liquid Control's ongoing commitment to all its equipment users has never been greater. This page can only give limited details on our after-sales support and our friendly, business like Service and Technical Sales Department are always available to discuss individual needs.

Contract Service
Once equipment is installed and commissioned, a planned preventive maintenace schedule helps to keep it in good working order and contributes to trouble-free running. A Service Contract with Liquid Control makes for cost-effective operation and peace-of-mind.

Contract Service offers customers:

  • Regular maintenance thus reducing expensive down-time
  • Pre-arranged planned service visits
  • Flexible scheduling to suit customers needs
  • Warranty back-up
  • Costs known in advance - no unpleasant surprises!
  • Reliable, safe, performance of Liquid Control equipment
  • Lower hourly service rates for contract service customers.

We look after the administration on a pre-agreed and costed programme. Experience shows that machines looked after in this way have almost no need for emergency service between visits.

Documentation
Each machine comes complete with operating and service manual, covering:

  • Explanation of functions
  • Operating procedures
  • Maintenance procedures
  • Circuit diagrams
  • Parts lists and identification
  • Fault finding checks
